"Madame de Foncé." The greeting is businesslike but not chilly. Perhaps luckily for them both, Cosima likes dogs and isn't inclined to object unless this one fully knocks over something breakable. "Please, have a seat. Thanks for making time for me so quickly, I know you've got a lot on your plate."

The state of the papers in the office is clearly progressing, though Cosima hasn't fully made the space her own yet in any visible way. (The promotion is still new enough that "provost" sounds weird, but she trusts she'll eventually get used to it.) Even in the middle of the sorting, she's kept a seat for visitors clear and the eyeline between chairs unblocked.
